Biography

Since their first release together 'Global Enemies' on Soul:r in 2007, Lynx & Kemo have gone on to tour the world over taking their impressive live show to clubs and festivals everywhere from the UK and europe, to New Zealand and Japan. Fusing elements of drum & bass, hip-hop and experimental electronica with traditional song-writing sensibilities, their sound has a broad-ranging appeal that few underground artists achieve. With Kemo's unique vocal tones weaved around Lynx's typically fresh productions, the duo make a strong combination and bounce off each other for an energetic live performance. Their debut LP 'The Raw Truth' has earned plaudits worldwide and they've since continued the successful studio partnership, with more releases due on Lynx's new label Detail and on Soul:r in 2010.

As a producer, Lynx has established a reputation for his technical ability and innovation. Soul:r,Creative Source, Digital Soundboy and Bingo are just some of the leading labels he’s released on and are proof that his sound is not only fresh but diverse.

Kemo’s global upbringing has allowed him to absorb to a wide variety of cultures and experiences, a fact that is clearly reflected in his musical work: he is currently also working on Dubstep, Techno, Broken Beat and Hip Hop tracks with a variety of European producers. Douglas Greed and Kemo released their first Single Deadlines in 2008, which was championed by the likes of Laurent Garnier. Zed Bias also features Kemo on his infamous Biaspheres Series and the duo continue their experimentation in sound together. Kemo has since been in the studio with the likes of The Upbeats and Alix Perez and has tracks forthcoming in 2010 on A Sides' and Breakage's respective albums.
